Toka Tū Ake The Earthquake Commission (EQC) is asking for feedback on a draft Code of Insured Persons’ Rights. The Code will set expectations for fair and timely management and settlement of claims under our natural hazard insurance scheme.

EQC is keen to hear from a range of insured homeowners, as well as community members, groups and organisations, who can bring a variety of different perspectives, as they develop the draft Code. This includes ensuring that disabled peoples’ experiences and insights inform the final Code.
