DPA members are invited to get involved in our constitution review by attending hui (meetings), filling out surveys, and reviewing draft changes.

Take a look at the phases and timeline of engagements below to find out what's happening and when you can take part.

Phase 1: Engagements on membership and governance

These engagements are focused on developing our options for governance and membership, including exploring how people become members, any rights and responsibilities members have, who are the governors of the Society and how are they are elected or what their term on NEC will be.

This is not everything – but this phase is about understanding what members want to see from governance and membership and shaping how we can reflect this in the constitution.

We will have two surveys and several online hui available for members to engage in.

To ensure we have the right resources for the meetings, please make sure you register. These meetings are only open to members.

Our survey about membership opens Friday 2 May and closes on Friday 16 May.
