My Life My Voice is offering Online Peer Supporter Training to disabled people, tāngata whaikaha and people with impairments.

My Life My Voice have established a voluntary Peer Supporter Network programme where a disabled person can connect with another disabled person, to talk about issues and topics they want to know more about or have in common.

The online training is for people anywhere in New Zealand who want to learn more about supporting other disabled people. After the training participants are encouraged to discuss being a voluntary Peer Supporter.

This training is a series of five online workshops that are two and a half hours long each, held on 22, 23, 28, 30 March and 1 April.

You can find out more about what being a Peer Supporter means on the My Life My Voice website.
