The consultation period for the draft Public Transport Design Guidance has been extended until 1 October 2021.
The guidance supports regional and local councils to deliver high-quality, people-focused public transport.
The draft guidance for the following sections is now available and open for feedback:
- Bus dimensions for design
- Corridor clearance
- Bus layover and driver facilities
- Getting to and from public transport
Following the consultation period, all feedback will be reviewed and the guidance revised before ratification and formal release.
