Currently fares on public transport are discounted by 50% for everyone. This discount ends on 30 June.

Community Services Card holders can apply now to continue to get a 50% discount on single-trip adult fares on public transport. The discount is part of the Community Connect programme and starts on 1 July.

You need to apply for the discount through your local transport provider:

Auckland - Community Connect - AT HOP

Christchurch - Community Connect - Metro/Christchurch

Timaru - Community Connect - Metro/Timaru

Wellington - Metlink - Concessions

Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Hawkes Bay, Nelson, Otago, Invercargill - Beecard - Community Connect
