This week, the World Health Organization (WHO) released recommendations to strengthen data collection on violence against disabled women. This work highlights the inclusion of women and the issue of disability within population-based surveys and research on violence against women.
New report shows higher levels of reported drug use among disabled people
This week, a report called Drug Use in Aotearoa was released by the NZ Drug Foundation Te Puna Whakaiti Pāmamae Kai Whakapiri. The report draws on the latest 2022/23 data from the NZ Health Survey, wastewater testing, and the NZ Drug Trends Survey to paint a picture of drug use across the country.
