A grassroots migrant collective, 'Migrants Against the Acceptable Standard of Health', is campaigning to end disability and health discrimination in Aotearoa New Zealand’s immigration system by getting rid of the Acceptable Standard of Health (ASH) requirements.
On Thursday 31 March DPA stopped administering face covering exemption cards. People who want information about, or are requesting, face mask exemption cards can now do so through the Ministry of Health.
Applications are now open for the Consumer Leadership Development grant. The grant is intended to cover the costs of disabled people or their whānau/family to take part in activities to develop leadership and encourage mana motuhake.
