Rare Disorders New Zealand (RDNZ) is the respected voice of rare disorders in New Zealand, supporting people who live with a rare condition and their families or whānau. RDNZ provides a strong, unified voice to advocate for public health policy and a future healthcare system that works for those with rare disorders.

The Chief Executive they are seeking will be a practical, confident and inclusive leader who brings an innovative approach to organisational excellence; someone who can continue to promote awareness and issues faced by the rare disease community, advocate on behalf of rare disease groups as well as connect, build and promote cross-sector partnerships and raise the positive profile of the organisation.

Reporting to the Chair and Board, the Chief Executive will provide strategic leadership and overall management of the organisation’s operational activities with the support of a small team.
