Whaikaha | Ministry of Disabled People is advertising for a Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) Commissioning, Design and Delivery who will be responsible for both commissioning and directly delivering a range of supports to Tāngata Whaikaha Māori, disabled people and their whānau.

The DCE will lead new innovative approaches to commissioning and designing of policies and processes in partnership to support the way disabled people and Tāngata Whaikaha Māori wish to live their lives.

The DCE Commissioning, Design and Delivery has a shared responsibility and focus to develop and drive the Ministry’s strategy, to ensure that the different parts of the Ministry work effectively together, comply with all relevant legislation and regulations, and to contribute to the Ministry’s achievement of high levels of overall performance.

They will need to work closely with the Chief Executive and in partnership with disabled people, Tāngata Whaikaha Māori, and their families to work to transform the disability system.
