This week, Whaikaha, Ministry of Disabled People is advertising the Enabling Good Lives Intern – Christchurch.
Whaikaha says the role would be perfect for someone who is just starting out on their employment journey and who has an interest in connecting with the disabled community. The role itself can be tailored to suit the successful candidate’s areas of interest and experience.
Whaikaha welcomes applications from disabled people, or those who have a lived experience of disability through whānau or community involvement. Currently, just under 40 percent of Whaikaha kaimahi identify as disabled people and the Ministry want this number to grow.
