The Waitematā Harbour Connections project aims to provide a fully multi-modal solution for people to travel across the Waitematā Harbour.

It will change the way we cross Te Waitematā (Waitematā Harbour) and use the wider transport system in the future - whether that’s walking, cycling, taking the bus, travelling by light rail, driving or transporting goods, services or freight - connecting people to transport options across the region and beyond.

Several scenarios for crossing Te Waitematā and improving rapid transit on the North Shore have been developed.

To help develop preferred connections, feedback is being sought on potential scenarios and options. A survey asking for feedback on these scenarios is now open.

For more information and to take the survey see Waitematā Harbour Connections

Feedback closes on Monday 1 May 2023.
