As part of the Office of the Children’s Commissioner engagement with children and young people for their What Makes a Good Life? report, they heard from 474 disabled children and young people through survey and face-to-face engagements.
The Access Alliance held an online follow-up explainer and Q&A session to go through the report the day before Hon Carmel Sepuloni, Minister for Disability Issues announced that the Government will introduce accessibility legislation into Parliament by July 2022.
