In the lead up to celebrating International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Whaikaha – Ministry of Disabled People are inviting the community to meet and have a kōrero (chat) and a cuppa with Whaikaha Chief Executive Paula Tesoriero MNZM.

Ōtepoti (Dunedin) afternoon tea
Where: Level 4 at the Alexander McMillan Suite, 301 Moray Place
When: 2.30pm - 3.30pm, Wednesday 30 November

Ōtautahi (Christchurch) morning tea
Where: St Martins Community Centre, 122 Wilsons Road South, St Martins
When: 10.00am - 11.00am, Thursday 1 December

NZSL interpreters will be at both events.

This is a chance for people to raise any pātai (questions) or just to meet Paula kanohi ki te kanohi (face-to-face). Wahiakaha encourage you to head along and be part of what will be the first of many of these type of community engagements around the motu.
