Covid Vaccination Healthline team to support disabled people
Disabled people and whānau can call the Covid Vaccination Healthline on 0800 28 29 26 and select ‘2’ to receive tailored advice and support for getting vaccination appointments, including assistance for coordinating transport to and from the vaccination site and arranging any support and/or accommodations needed during the appointment.
You can also speak to this team about any concerns you may have about the interaction of the vaccination with your health condition.
A text service for this team will be launched next week - we'll include details in the next Information Exchange.
