Countdown have reinstated their priority service meaning that disabled people and people who are over 70 can get their shopping delivered quicker. Anyone that has previously been approved as a priority customer does not have to reapply - you will already have priority access to delivery slots for your online shopping.

If you have not already applied, DPA have a code for our members to use for the Priority Assist application - please email info@dpa.org.nz if you need this priority service and don’t have a code.

New World and PAK'n'SAVE

A priority online ordering line for "elderly or vulnerable customers" has now been set for New World and PAK’n'SAVE customers. Customers can call 0800 363 977 between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday to book a priority slot at selected stores that have opted into the service.

Other food delivery services

Stuff have put together a directory of local businesses that are making deliveries. Sorted into regions there are a wide variety of businesses including butchers, bakers, greengrocers, ready made meal suppliers, wine merchants, pet food suppliers and more.

Delivery help for those unable to go to the supermarket

The Student Volunteer Army are again delivering groceries to people who are unable to get to the supermarket - SVA Grocery Service.
